Dilka Tsankova has been a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer since 2016, as well as a weight loss specialist, ISSA nutrition coach, and TRX certified instructor. She is passionate about improving people’s lives. Her goal is to build a trusting relationship with clients by working patiently with them, educating and inspiring them on how to improve their lives through healthy eating and exercising, how to make exercise a part of their lives, and how to make better food choices. Every client is unique and has different goals. These may be to lose weight, build muscle, gain weight, get in shape, or simply work out and keep moving to stay in shape. Based on her client’s needs or goals, she creates a unique workout program that may include strength training, HIIT, and so on. Meal plans, as well, are always tailored to the client’s needs, goals, and tastes. As a personal trainer, Dilka has had a wide range of clients: from teens to seniors, busy moms, men, women, weak, strong, and others. She reaches out to her clients every other day to keep them accountable and make sure she is not missing something. Even though each client’s goals are different, the end results have always been positive. She desires to enable clients to get stronger not only physically but also mentally. Throughout the personal training, she educates her client about nutrition, helping them create a meal plan that is carefully adjusted to their overall fitness goals.

About me: I am fluent in English. I have a college medical degree from Europe. After I moved to the U.S., I became a dental assistant and have worked in a dental office and continue to learn and develop myself. After I had my second child, I decided to focus more on fitness and healthy eating, so I obtained a personal training certificate through NASM. I have done a few Spartan raises. At the beginning of 2017, I started heavy resistance training and, with the help of many coaches, prepared myself for bodybuilding contests. My goal was to gain weight and lean body mass. Since then, bodybuilding has become a lifestyle since I must stay disciplined both during the season and off-season. To retain my knowledge and further educate myself, I attend seminars, workshops, and new courses. I worked with many coaches to gain firsthand experience as a training client when I was preparing for Natural Bodybuilding competitions in a Figure category. I have competed in over 10 Bodybuilding Natural Contests, placing 1st and 2nd and placed 3 times for NPC Nationals. In my second year of natural bodybuilding, I won my PRO CARD. Dilka is a fantastic personal trainer. I have had several over the years so I have a point of comparison. She got to know me; she encourages and pushes appropriately. She is flexible with my work schedule, including when I travel! I have always had a strong lower body, but now I have a strong upper body. I have been working with Dilka for over 2 years and I have never been stronger, physically or mentally. Dilka is the biggest hype woman and will be your biggest fan! My husband and I are so happy with the results of our working with Dilka! One year after a total knee replacement I was able to hike for 9 continuous days in Nepal to Gokyo Ri and back to Lukla; a dream come true!
